Help

Short answers to the things people ask first. For anything else, write to support@zimoma.com.

Writing a note

Tap What’s on your mind? at the bottom of Home, Notes or Spaces. The first line becomes the title. Drag the sheet up to carry on in a full page. The + beside it starts a checklist, a photo note or a note from a template; the microphone starts a voice note; the camera scans a page.

Where notes are kept

In your account on Zimoma’s server, so they appear on every device you sign in to. They are not in Apple iCloud. Notes you write offline are kept on the iPhone and upload when you’re back online. Photos, scans and recordings stay on the iPhone.

Widgets

Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget and choose Zimoma. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, tap Customize, then Add Widgets. Open Zimoma once after installing so the widgets have something to show. To-dos can be ticked on the widget itself.

Sharing

Open a note, tap Share, and invite people. You choose whether each person can view, comment or edit. A space is a set of notes shared with the same people.

A copy of your notes

Settings › Export saves your notes as files you can keep anywhere.

Deleted something by mistake

Deleted notes wait in Notes › Recently deleted for 30 days. Open one and tap Recover.

AI features

Settings › AI features has the switch and says what is sent. The full list is on How AI uses your notes.

Deleting your account

Settings › Account › Delete account. This can’t be undone. If you have Pro, cancel the subscription in your Apple account as well.
