The ferry left at six, which meant Ines had missed it twice in her head before she even reached the pier.

Notes for this chapter

Questions

Before you ask

Does Zimoma show a word count?

Yes. Words and reading time show as you write, and you can give a note a word target, with a ring that fills as you go. Note Info shows the words, characters and reading time of a note, with its open and done tasks, its links, and when it was made and changed.

Will the AI write for me?

Only if you ask it to. Write with AI works on a selection or the whole note: Improve, Summarise, Proofread, Expand, Outline, Continue, or a request of your own. Each result is a preview until you choose to use it, and Settings › AI features › Use AI features turns it all off.

Can I publish a piece?

Yes. A note becomes a read-only web page at zimoma.com/p/ with a name you choose. Add a password or an expiry date if you like. It’s hidden from search engines by default, and Stop sharing takes it down at once.

Can someone read my draft and leave notes?

Share the note as Can comment. They can comment and mention you, but can’t change your text.

Can I get my writing out?

Settings › Export saves your notes as files you can keep anywhere.
